Affiliate Partner Program
Affiliate partners wanted
As long as the users you refer keep their subscription, the commission keeps paying. 20% for life as standard, 30% for pre-launch early partners, and 40% for a product born from your own proposal. The rate is this high because the partnership is direct — no affiliate network takes a cut.
No setup fee. Performance-based only. No affiliate network sign-up.
Commission
Commission rates: 20–40%, recurring
Paid every month for as long as the user you referred stays on a paid plan. The rate never tapers off over time.
20%
Recurring, for life
Standard partner
20% of the subscription revenue from the users you refer, for as long as their contract lasts.
30%
Recurring, for life
Pre-launch early partner
Users you refer via pre-registration before launch keep you at the 30% early rate, for life.
40%
Recurring, for life
Partner for a proposed product
If you refer a product that was built from your own proposal, you earn the top rate of 40%, for life.
Commission is earned only when a referred user is actually billed for a paid plan. Free plans and free-trial periods are not eligible.
The exact conditions for each rate are set out in the Mumu Labo Partner Program terms.
Why high payout
Why the payout can be this high
Recurring rather than one-off, and direct rather than through a network — so the person doing the referring is rewarded for longer, and better.
Recurring for life, so it compounds
Not a one-off bounty: as long as the user you referred stays on a paid plan, the commission keeps coming, and the rate never tapers. Every referral you add builds the monthly base.
Direct partnership, no network margin
You partner with Mumu Labo directly, so no affiliate network takes a cut. There is no setup fee and no fixed cost — purely performance-based. That is what makes the rate affordable to offer.
You get to pick the niche that sells
You are not limited to promoting what already exists. Propose a product that would be easy to recommend in your niche, and if it looks promising I plan and build it. Your instinct for what sells turns straight into revenue.
Products built for Japanese practice, law, and language
These products cover exactly what overseas apps tend to miss for the Japanese market, and I handle planning, development, operation, and support myself — so you can recommend them with confidence.
For you
Who this suits
It rewards people who already refer, and who have a niche of their own.
- You are looking for high-payout offers that recur rather than pay once
- You are good at recommending subscription, SaaS, or product-led tools
- You can reach an audience through a blog, social media, YouTube, or a newsletter
- You want your videos and articles to become an ongoing income base
- You want to strengthen YouTube monetisation and description-link affiliates
- You have a feel for what sells in a particular field
- You find network offers too low-paying and too one-off
- You want to help shape the product you recommend, not just promote it
For YouTubers & creators
For video creators and YouTubers
A review video is an evergreen asset — it keeps getting watched long after you publish it. Add a commission that recurs for life and a single video becomes an income base that grows without you making more. That is a fit one-off, low-rate offers can never give a video creator.
A free account for reviewing
If you are making a video or a review, you get a free account to try the features for real and record your screen. Recommending something you have actually used makes for a far more convincing video.
A media kit
Logos, screenshots, demo data, and the key selling points, packaged together — so thumbnails and walkthrough videos are much less work (terms, article 9).
Tracked by your description link (?ref=)
Just put the referral link you are issued in your video description. Sign-ups through that link are attributed to you. The link is permanent, so you never have to go back and edit published videos.
Help with Japan’s paid-promotion disclosure rules
Japanese law requires a clear “PR” disclosure both inside the video and in the description. I share a guide on how to word it under the Premiums and Representations Act and the stealth-marketing rules, so you can promote with confidence (terms, article 8).
Retail, resale, e-commerce operations, back office and bookkeeping — if your audience has those problems, you can recommend a tool that solves them and treat it as an asset that keeps paying. Start with an application

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- Q. What is the commission rate, and why is it this high?
- A. On the subscription revenue paid by the users you refer: 20% as a standard partner, 30% as an early partner who referred users via pre-registration before launch, and 40% when you recommend a product that was built from your own proposal. All three are recurring for life and paid monthly for as long as the contract lasts. Because the partnership is direct with no affiliate network in between, the margin a network would take goes into the rate instead.
- Q. How long does the commission keep paying?
- A. For as long as the user you referred stays on a paid plan — for life. The rate never tapers with time. Because the products are subscriptions, referrals accumulate into an ongoing base.
- Q. Do I need to join an affiliate network, or pay anything up front?
- A. No. You partner with Mumu Labo directly, so no network takes a cut. There is no setup fee and no fixed cost — purely performance-based.
- Q. When does a commission start?
- A. From the month a referred user finishes their free trial and their first payment on a paid plan is confirmed. Free plans and free-trial periods are not eligible.
- Q. What is the payout threshold and schedule?
- A. Accounts close quarterly. If your confirmed balance at the end of a quarter is ¥5,000 or more, it is transferred to the bank account you nominate by the end of the following month. Below ¥5,000 it carries over to the next quarter.
- Q. What if a referred user cancels and then subscribes again?
- A. Both the attribution and the rate carry over unchanged (a user who qualified for the 30% early rate stays at 30%). Commission resumes from the month paid billing restarts; no commission accrues for the period when there was no billing.
- Q. What kinds of products can I recommend?
- A. Propose an idea for something that would be easy to recommend in your field. If it looks promising, I plan and build it, and you promote it. Your sense of what sells in a niche turns straight into revenue. Custom development enquiries are welcome too.
- Q. Can I promote on YouTube or in review videos?
- A. Yes — it is arguably the best fit. A review video is an evergreen asset that keeps getting watched, and with a commission that recurs for life, a single video becomes an income base that compounds. As with a blog or social post, you refer through the link in your description.
- Q. Is this “passive income” that pays while I do nothing?
- A. It is not a guarantee of income for no work. You earn only once you have made the article or video and put it in front of your audience. That said, a review video or blog post keeps being read and watched long after publication, and with a commission that recurs for life, the earnings can keep accumulating without you producing more. The effort you put in tends to stay as an asset.
- Q. Do I get an account to review with?
- A. Yes. If you are making a video or a review, you get a free review account so you can try the features for real and record your screen. You also get a media kit with logos, screenshots, and demo data (terms, article 9).
- Q. Can a link in a YouTube description be tracked?
- A. Yes. Put the referral link you are issued (?ref=) in the description and sign-ups through it are attributed to you. The link is permanent, so there is no need to go back and edit videos you have already published.
- Q. How should I disclose paid promotion in a video?
- A. Under Japan’s Premiums and Representations Act and its stealth-marketing rules, you must clearly indicate that the content is advertising or promotion — for example “PR” — both inside the video and in the description. I share a guide on how to word it (terms, article 8).
